Welcome to the website of the Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC).

The Anti-Corruption Commission became operational with its inauguration by His Excellency, President Hifikepunye Pohamba, on 1 February 2006.  In its fight against corruption the Commission embraces a three-pronged approach of law enforcement, prevention and public education.  Our success in the fight against corruption is dependant on high ethical standards being maintained in all dealings and the reporting of corruption to the Commission whenever it occurs.

This website, among others, contains the history on the Anti-Corruption Commission, its powers, duties and functions, cases referred to the Prosecutor-General for possible prosecution, and public awareness raising events.

I trust that this website will provide a better understanding of the Commission’s operations and ensure continued support and involvement in the fight against corruption.
